What is an apostille?
An apostille is a certificate that verifies the authenticity of a document issued in one country for use in another.
In Canada, authentication certificates are now replaced by Apostille certificates.
Required for documents intended for use in countries. Countries that are part of the Hague Apostille Convention.

If your document is for a country not part of the Hague Apostille Convention. You will still need an authentication certificate. As well, further legalization at the destination country’s embassy or consulate
